Outline
A successful appraisal meeting leads to successful results from the appraisee. This course looks at what appraisals aim to achieve; how to conduct an appraisal interview from planning the meeting, conducting the interview, and follow up actions. This course uses company documents/procedures to ensure relevance to the business.

To have confidence to plan and run a successful appraisal meeting

How to plan for an appraisal interview appraisee/appraiser
How to carry out an appraisal interview
Stages of the interview
How to give feedback constructively
General communication skills including listening skills, to encourage mutual participation of the meeting
How to produce a follow up action plan
To have the opportunity to practice skills and carry out role play in a safe and controlled environment.
