- R asked: Will it help me understand "how to do" the following? - ustomized wizard - ustom & typical installation - Install dotNet code and sql express database - Installation for desktop application (application & service) - Installation process will ask for database connection string and update config file - heck for the OS, check for prerequisites, install the s/w necessary to run the application - SQL server express, database engine, crystal reports, active sync, dotnet framework, enterprise library, few dlls etc to be installed - If old application exists, it will remove the old and install the new - Option to use existing database (sql server express) or install new - Execute scripts to insert bootstrap data - Installing application on PDA through desktop/laptop (through active sync) - Installation will check for the prerequisites in PDA and if some thing is missing (like sql E engine, scanner software etc) those will have to be installed.
