Streamline simulation has become a powerful complementary tool to more traditional finite difference approaches for dynamic reservoir simulation. In some cases, streamline simulation can be considered an alternative, allowing to rapidly evaluating multiple geological and engineering scenarios for quick decision making. The objective of this course is to introduce practicing geoscientists to this novel technology, allowing them to understand where streamline simulation can be applied successfully.
