I recently applied for a website editor position - the company really likes me, but my only shortfall is lack of significant RF / microwave background. If I'm able to acqure the necessary skills and become fluent with RF / microwave principals, terminology, concepts, etc. I greatly enhance my chances of gaining the position. This is a time-sensitive matter; I have to show the company a course you can offer in a relatively short timeframe. Ideally, I'd like to go through a basic RF / microwave course in the next couple weeks. Do you offer customized training for individuals? An internet (web-conference type) training session would be preferred. I have an electronic design background and I'm currently a technical writer, so I have a fairly good grasp of electrical concepts - I just have to familiarize myself with RF / microwave knowledge. This course is a follow-on to EE104 - Introduction to RF and Microwave Concepts. With an introducton to the concepts associated with RF and microwaves, we continue on with a survey of some of the main RF and microwave devices and instrumentation. It is our intent that this course will actually grow with time as more individual courses are brought online. The course will also cover concepts that are associated with each of the topics covered. For instance, introducing the concept of directivity when describing directional couplers. The following devices and instrumentation will be introduced in this course.
