Medical Terminology
The Medical Terminology for Health Professions online course can be taken for a certificate, which is good for 9. 5 CEUs (Continuing Education Units), or 3 college credit hours. The cost is $318 for the certificate and $798 for college credits. Pima Community College, regionally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, awards the college credits, issues letter grades and provides transcripts.
Students have access to the course for one year, but may complete it as quickly as they would like since it is entirely self-paced. (Participants do not have to interact with any other students or an instructor.)
Final scores are dependent on the exams, which are all online. Students must receive a score of 70 or above on the exams, but they have the opportunity to take the exams up to three times each. The exams are not timed.
