Introduction to Medical Terminology is an instructor-led course that teaches participants to understand basic medical terms, their meanings and to analyze new terms. Participants have the opportunity to practice basic word components: word roots, prefixes, and suffixes. Case studies, anatomical terms, and special diagnostic procedures are covered to enhance learning. This course allows time to practice pronunciation of medical terms.
