The purpose of this course is to provide a short survey of the various types of antenna test ranges that exist, as well as some information on some of the advantages and pitfalls of each. This is not a particularly technical course, but it serves as a basic introduction of the more advanced courses to follow this one. Some of the safety issues and operational problems of these chambers will also be covered.
