How to design organisational structures and core business processes
Whether it s bringing two hugely successful, complex global organisations together or designing a smaller company or department it provides both the necessity and the opportunity to create a new entity that is designed for even greater levels of success going into the future.
This design process entails almost innumerable decisions, each of which may impact on several others. A purposeful, systematic approach to these decisions is required to ensure that all of the significant building blocks of organisational effectiveness are attended to and all of the powerful forces that may hinder success are addressed. This design process can be used for many purposes, such as:
The basis for a discussion about the need for a systematic approach to organisational design
To guide an integration team through designing their part of the organisation.
To help develop a project plan in this area
To send certain messages about organisation strategy (eg the need for cross-referencing between parts of the business)
This course can be run as an open workshop or in-company programme. The next open event in the UK is on Wednesday 7th November 2007 at a delegate cost of 375.00 VAT
