Embracing Change in an Uncertain World
Change Management
Do you struggle to keep up with the pace of change? Do you want to feel more comfortable in the ever-changing environment in which we work and live?
Change is happening to us all the time, both personally and professionally - so why are so many people fearful of / resistant to change? This invaluable workshop is aimed at helping individuals to understand their reactions to change, to feel more comfortable in the face of change and to consider the possibilities and opportunities that change can bring.
If we never take a step into the dark, we may never see the stars
Of course, we all experience transition differently - no two people will have the same change journey. Therefore, the exact content of this day will vary depending on the needs of the group
This workshop can be run as an open course or in-company programme. The next open event in the UK is on Thursday 13th December 2007 at a delegate cost of 375.00 VAT

Embracing Change in an Uncertain World
We all experience transition differently - no two people will have the same change journey. Therefore, the exact content of this day will vary depending on the needs of the group, but is likely to include:
Living and working in a changing world
Exploring personal experiences of change
Understanding the change process and its emotional stages
Change in organisations working with square wheels
Examining attitudes and fears and managing stress
Identifying your personal reactions and overcoming barriers to change
Visualising and exploring future possibilities
This workshop draws on the work of experts in both organisational and personal development, such as Dr Spencer Johnson (Who Moved My Cheese), Susan Jeffers (Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway), Dr Elizabeth Kubler-Ross and many more. We will provide
a safe environment to explore your feelings and fears about change and create strategies for more effectively managing these in future
Benefits delegates will leave:
Understanding their own and others reactions to change
With a selection of tools to overcome their personal barriers to change
Better able to see and embrace the positive aspects of change
Who should attend - This workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to develop the skills and attitude to embrace change as an integral and welcome aspect of life
Trainer - Sharon Young Pearlcatchers Ltd
Sharon has worked for many years in both operational and change roles at companies such as Yellow Pages and Cable & Wireless. Sharon s experience as both an agent and target of change gives her a unique perspective as a trainer and consultant. Sharon specialises in areas such as influencing, negotiation, management development and change management. Her energetic and enthusiastic style is infectious and both motivates delegates to get involved and holds their attention throughout.
I don t think I ve attended a course where the trainer was so obviously expert in the subject and with a flexibility and enthusiasm always at a high level HBS
Fantastic, best two days spent. The workshop was very insightful and it s great that I have very specific feedback to me as an individual IDIS Pharma
