In this course we will cover conceptually how circulators, isolators, and directional couplers function. We will also discuss how these devices are used. This course does not get into the level of detail sufficient to be able to design the devices described, that is to be covered in the advanced course. The idea is to give you the general background required to understand conceptually how these devices work, and what they are used for.
