Accent Reduction or Neutralization is learning "the HOW" of speaking American English. Each student has their own level and I customize instruction to match. I help with the vowel and consonant sounds as well as how those sounds are put together. I teach how English is a "language of contrast". In English, there are parts that are HIGH ENGERY and parts that are low energy. This is true in individual words, and then in phrases, and ultimately in sentences. My number one goal is helping you be UNDERSTOOD as clearly as possible. The number 2 goal is adopting as much of the American style of English as possible, to identify and communicate better with American native speakers. Most students study with me 8 - 12 weeks on the shorter side to 6-12 months or more, depending on your needs and your budget.
