This course covers the basic skills you will need to build your own FileMaker Pro databases from scratch or perform maintenance and modifications to existing databases. Training is task-based, meaning that we will take you through a database project from start-to-finish. Topics include data entry, sorting records, finding records, defining fields; adding field options, creating Layouts and Reports, defining Tables; and an introduction to Scripting. We want you to come away from this class understanding the key parts of a database, how to build a Filemaker Pro database from scratch, how to add and modify fields and layouts, sort and browse data, and generate reports.
