Introduces the basic elements of Microsoft Office Access. Students learn what a database is and how an effective database should be designed and set up. They learn how to manipulate the Access interface and create their own databases, students will receive instruction in how to create and use the basic tools of the Access application.
This course is designed to introduce students to the basic elements that comprise a Microsoft Office Access database.

After they learn how to manipulate the Access interface and create their own databases, students will receive instruction in how to create and use the basic tools of the Access application: tables, forms, filters and sorts, queries, and reports. In addition, students will learn how to enter data in Access and how to manipulate and use that data.
