Full Description
PIN code provided for this course allows unlimited on-line access for 90 days. This course is designed to introduce students to the basic features of Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003. Students will learn how to design PowerPoint presentations on their computers through examples and interactive exercises. They will learn to create presentations from scratch using slide layouts and design templates and by using the AutoContent wizard. In addition, students will learn how to use clip art images and drawing tools to enhance presentations. Students will also be shown how to create and edit tables, as well as how to prepare a presentation for printing. Other topics that will be covered include formatting text and working in the Slide, Outline, and Notes panes.


Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: Create and navigate through presentations -- Modify existing presentations -- Apply and change slide layouts -- Create and use tables on PowerPoint slides -- Use templates and Slide Masters to create and enhance presentations -- Insert clip art and create original drawing objects -- Reorganize slides and slide text -- View presentations in different modes


Assessment:
Student performance is assessed by cumulative training time, number of lessons completed and, where tests are available, the percent correct. Many courses also have a pre- and post-test where the pre-test will automatically assign only the lessons needed to achieve course mastery.
