Alan Mars has taught Alexander Technique and presentation skills within many top British and international companies (including: Abbey National, General Electric, Sainsbury's, Lloyds of London and many other)since 1992.
He has taught Alexander Technique, voice-work and singing both privately and at many top London drama and music schools , including the Arts Educational Drama School, the Guildhall school of Music and Drama and the Royal College of Music, since 1982.
Alan practices what he preaches. In addition to being a black belt martial arts instructor (Aikido 2nd Dan) Alan is an accomplished entertainer and musician in his own right - specialising in voice, harp and mandolin.
He has taken the best techniques from the world of the performing arts and adapted them for use in business and commercial settings. He is the author of a book on public speaking and presentation skills: "Presenter: Be Your Best ... and Beyond" published by Hodder and Stoughton.
After 22 years of teaching in London he now also teaches in Brighton & Hove and offers courses and personal coaching across the UK.
