- S asked: State Licensing requires Head Start teachers to have an infant/ child or pediatric certification. Lauren Groom took a class on / / at Mercy Medical Mt. Shasta. Her card says nothing in regards to Pediatric. There are three circles and the C is shaded. Could you explain her certification? It only says "Heartsaver AED". This instructor led course offers practice-while-watching video segments with instructor feedback. Students practice skills on life-like manikins and perform rescuer situations in a variety of scenarios simulating real-life emergencies.
Course includes: Adult/ Child CPR With Mask; & Adult/ Child Choking. Optional modules include: Infant CPR With Mask; & Infant Choking.
Student Required TEXT: Heartsaver CPR Student Manual. (Loaner Manuals Available)
