winter training bioinformatics

This winter industrial training in Bioinformatics aims to provide exposure to some of the modern bio-tools, biological databases and their applications in Biological research or Industry. The basic foundation module of Molecular Biology will be involved in conducting this training, so as to cover various fields of Bioinformatics. The participants will be interacting with experts in their fields and shall get acquainted with practical aspects of various tools & techniques along with the underlying algorithms. Practical s will be conducted in small groups under the expert supervision, where an individual participant will follow a designed project in an area of on going projects. A few demonstrations of research problems shall also be made. The Bioinformatics training will be in two phases. Phase I of the training will cover basic foundation module and phase II includes advance module and project.
