Software testing is a critical component in the software development life cycle. The end quality of the product depends on how well the product is tested. Disciplined Software testing demands clear understanding of the basic concepts to test the software application in a systematic way. As a professional Test Engineer, one has to understand the responsibilities of different roles in a testing team, eliminate ambiguities in requirements and design, understand different phases and types of testing, understand underlying concepts to build appropriate and optimized test cases to test the product, and analyze execution results.
This workshop is focused on understanding testing principles, requirements and design reviews, phases and types of testing, test case design techniques and testing in different kinds of environments like Waterfall, Agile, and RUP. Guidelines for effectively communicating with other departments like Development, Subject Matter Experts Team, Configuration Management Team is also part of the workshop.
Course Objective
