This qualification is designed to reflect the role of entry level employees working across the entire financial services spectrum who perform duties such as:
responding to customer enquiries
sales and service
maintaining financial records
performing clerical duties
applying fundamental skills in broking, distribution, banking, credit management and retail financial services
Students who complete the Certificate III in Financial Services are equipped for roles such as:
Credit Clerk/Officer
Accounts Clerk/Officer
Insurance Officer (Tier 2 level), and
Other roles where duties include providing advice at Tier 2 level.
Many of the Certificate III units are prerequisites for competency at higher levels and provide a foundation for further studies at Certificate IV or Diploma level.
