Training Provided by Tekno Point Multimedia ActionScript for Designers ActionScript Level 1 Description: Macromedia Flash 8: ActionScript Level 1 provides experienced Flash designers with the knowledge and hands-on practice they need to create dynamically generated event-driven animation and interactive games with Flash. The course teaches fundamental programming techniques. It begins by introducing core concepts including instance names, variables, functions, properties, and methods; then proceeds through conditions, loops, event handling, and animating with ActionScript. Eligibility / Audience: To take this course, you should have: Completed the Adobe (formerly Macromedia) Flash 8: Rich Content Creation course, or have equivalent experience. The desire to learn how to program Flash content using ActionScript. ActionScript Level 2 Description: Flash designers with some ActionScript experience will find that the Flash Scripting for Designers course provides the knowledge and hands-on practice required to build more flexible and dynamic design-based Flash pieces. This course focuses on teaching students more advanced ActionScript topics that removes their reliance on timeline-based visual tools. It also introduces them to other ActionScript code that will allow them to generate dynamic design and navigation elements that cannot be created without ActionScript. Eligibility / Audience: This course is for Flash designers who have some experience with ActionScript but want to learn more advanced topics and features to enhance their designs. To gain the most from this class you should already have: Experience creating Flash designs and animation using the timeline One year of Flash design experience
