Course description:
Pro Tools 210P provides techniques for working with Pro Tools systems in a professional post production environment. Concepts and skills learned in Introduction to Pro Tools, Pro Tools 110 and Pro Tools 201 are reinforced with practical post-specific examples.
Prerequisites:
This course continues to build on the wide variety of fundamental concepts and topics covered in the Pro Tools 100-series courses and Pro Tools 201. Access to the 210P exam requires passing all previous exams.
What You Will Learn:
Synchronizing Pro Tools for audio post
Linear video in Pro Tools
Non-linear video in Pro Tools, including QuickTime video and Avid -compatible media
Video inoperability using Media Station|PT software
Recording and editing ADR in Pro tools
Organizing a post session
Editing multi-channel audio in a stereo environment
Mixing to picture, including snapshot automation
Digital picture integration with an emphasis on working with Avid media
Layback and export options
Using a Digidesign worksurface in post production
Equipment:
The Recording Arts Center will provide a computer workstation for each participant preloaded with course-relevant software and music. Each participant will receive a copy of the Pro Tools 210P Official Courseware.
