Trainees play out the BA role over an iteratively managed, end-to-end IT project, employing the full spectrum of
Business Analysis skills and techniques learned in the BA program. Trainees step through a complex case study, employing business and system use case analysis, object modeling, activity diagramming and other essential BA skills, chronologically, as they would need to use them over the course of a real project. When delivered with a modeling tool (
IBM Rational
Rose or other), the trainee also learns how to employ the tool over the project life cycle to assist in BA activities.

* By following a project through from end-to-end, you ll reinforce knowledge gained throughout the program, learning exactly when to use each BA technique for maximum benefit.
By working on all techniques over the same course, you ll experience how the tools fit together, for example, how use cases are tied to activity diagram and to class diagrams.
