This is an introductory course on the spectrum analyzer.
This course covers the basic block diagram and some of the basic controls that can be found on spectrum analyzers. It does not cover basic measurements that can be made with the spectrum analyzer, that is being reserved for follow-on courses. The intent of this course is to provide basic familiarity to this versatile tool. The basic block diagram for three spectrum analyzer architectures are covered, as well as the more common controls found on a spectrum analyzer.
