A case study is provided to practice facilitation techniques needed for conducting BPM workshops and business meetings. The case study will re-enforce the facilitation skills needed for a BPM initiative by providing practice facilitating the specific stages of process analysis and design. The class will give the participants experience working in teams to perform the analysis, design, justifying and selling their ideas for the business transformation. The objectives for the class are to: - Provide practical exercises for: active listening skills; planning a BPM session; building agendas for decision making sessions; questioning techniques; consensus building and facilitation techniques for controlling group dynamics - Give each participant the opportunity to facilitate specific techniques for different types of BPM workshops and provide individual mentoring by the instructor - Build upon the principles and techniques learned in class Case Study Deliverables for the BPM Stages: Each stage of the BPM process for business transformation initiatives will be outlined with the following: - Brief description of the stage - Questions to consider - Deliverables and tasks - Detailed scripts and techniques for conducting BPM workshops
