Designed to help participants take their facilitation skills to the next level, this 2-day training session will provide participants with detailed quality feedback and two facilitation practice sessions. The workshop provides practice in facilitation techniques needed for conducting workshops and business meetings. The class can also be customized to provide practice facilitating specific projects and techniques. The types of sessions will depend on the area of the focus the facilitator needs.
The seminar focus is:
- Facilitation tips and techniques to be a successful facilitator
- Practical experience and practice in facilitating with feedback
from the instructor
- Practice techniques for handling difficult groups and common
people problems
- Enhancing your skills as a facilitator
- Building agendas and scripts for facilitating a successful
session
The objectives of the seminar are to:
- Provide practical exercises for: active listening skills; planning a
session; building agendas for decision making sessions; questioning
techniques; consensus building and facilitation techniques
for controlling group dynamics
- Give each seminar participant the opportunity to facilitate
specific agendas for different types of workshops and provide
individual mentoring by the instructor
- Build upon the principles and techniques learned in class
Maximum of 10 students. Seminars can be customized with
specific deliverables, documentation tools and real life projects.
Participants receive a Session Leader Kit with Agendas, Scripts
and JAD Techniques.
