Purpose
This course explains how to plan for, implement and manage the ongoing operations of the system. Emphasis is on security, system availability, and problem determination technoques. You are also introduced to the architecture and terminology of the AS/ 400. Hands-on labs are provided to reinforce the lecture and practice the tasks.

After completing this course, students should be able to:
Describe the features and functions of the AS/ 400
Defive security requirements and implement a plan for your security plan
Perform a security audit and update your AS/ 400 security plan
