Designers, installers and users are responsible for electrical safety. The Canadian Electrical Code establishes safety standards for design, installation, maintenance and use of electrical wiring by preventing undue electrical fire and shock hazards.
Excellent code knowledge is a prerequisite to correct specification and application of equipment and wiring in all areas of design, construction, maintenance, manufacturing and the use of electricity. This seminar demonstrates accurate interpretations and applications in areas such as wiring systems, grounding and bonding, protection and control, motors, lines and substations, explosion-proof areas, fire alarms and emergency systems. It also highlights key standards, including the Building Code, IEEE, NFPA and CSA which are referenced in the Canadian Electrical Code.
After Participating In The Seminar, You Will Be Able To:
* Recognize the electrical code requirements for electrical distribution systems
* Comply with the requirements of the code to ensure they are accounted for in the design, construction and operation of electrical systems
* Apply your knowledge of grounding and bonding requirements in the code
* Work with greater insight into the protection and control requirements of the code
* Enhance safety of your hazardous locations by complying with the code
* Adjust motor applications, substations and high voltage lines to meet with the code requirements
* Select suitable wire and cable for your projects

- asked: How much??
- M asked: How much??
- M asked: Does this course offer a certificate?? Also, how much is the fee?? Thank you.
- Z asked: I am interested in dates of Canadian Electric Code seminar in and year.
- S asked: Hello, i was wondering if you could help me? I am in the process of considering moving to canada. I was born in burlington in and i now live in london england. Getting residence in canada will not be a problem due to my canadian passport. I am a fully qualified electrician here in england and would like to know what courses i need to be qualified in, in order to work as an electrician within canada? Also if there is anyway that maybe i could study on line and get the qualifications before moving? Thank you for your help.
- A asked: Sir, I am E & I Project inspector who works and lives in Nigeria, West Africa. I want to inquire if you have an explosion proof certification program. I will also like to know what it will cost me to run such program. kind Regards, Akeem
- C asked: Would it be possible to get a quote for a code essentials course to include the new changes for the Canadian Electrical Code for people in Cold Lake, AB this is for a establishment.
- G asked: I want to find out about licensing in Canada. The oil sands people are looking for Instrumentation and Electrican types. I am an American citizen but want to work in this area. I have a US BAT Instrumentation certificate and a Michigan State Electrical Journeyman license with about years of experience. Currently working at a chemical plant as an Instrument Journeyman. What will it take to work in Canada? Regards Cole Road Saginaw, Michigan --- (cell) --- home --- X work
- D asked: does this course include high voltage ticket ? probobly not im sure, if not do you guys offer trainning for this if not . do you know who does.
