Students will build on existing skills and learn some of the more advanced features of QuarkXPress. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: Draw B zier lines and shapes; edit B zier points, curve handles, and segments; Import, create and edit Clipping Paths and Alpha Channels; Apply Transparency and automatic feathered Drop Shadows to pictures and text; use QuarkVista for applying adjustments and filters to your images; import multilayered Photoshop files, hide and show the layers in those files, and control the way in which the layers in an imported Photoshop file are combined using PSD Import; and how to export different versions of PDF files for different purposes (such as Web distribution and printing).
Prerequisites: QuarkXPress 8. 0 Intro (or equivalent knowledge). This course is offered for both Mac & Windows.
