QuarkXPress includes a trio of long-document features tailored for book publishers: the Books, Lists, and Index features. In this course, youa ll learn how to combine several QuarkXPress projects into a Book, control page numbering and styles within that book, and synchronize book styles. Youa ll also learn how to create an automatic Table of Contents by defining and building a List, including Synchronizing the List throughout a Book. And finally, youa ll learn how to set up an automatically generated Index - including defining punctuation for an index, tagging and editing index entries, creating a cross-reference, and building a formatted Index.
Prerequisites: QuarkXPress 8. 0 Intro and Intermediate (or equivalent knowledge). This course is offered for both Mac & Windows.
