Introduction to Radio Antenna Systems
Part I - Antenna Fundamentals
Introduces students to the identification, operation, and maintenance of radio antenna systems.
General operation of antennas is discussed, followed by antenna gain, directivity and polarity. Popular antennas are identified with exercises designed to help students identify and understand antenna operation.
Part II Antenna Component Devices & Applications Overview
Learn antenna systems configurations, component devices, applications, and how they work together as complete networks. This course includes circulators, isolators, filters and combiners.
Part III Antenna Installation & Maintenance Overview
is devoted to antenna testing and maintenance. This course demonstrates, through the use of student exercises, the standard procedures used to test antenna systems.
