Introduction
Every agency, company, or organization that has field personnel has a need to communicate with the elements in the field; this function is largely met by wireless telecommunications of some type. This course explains the fundamental parts of Two Way Radio Communication Systems, the protocol needed to have order on the system, and the basic operation of the radio units. Two Way Radio Communication Systems, also known as Land Mobile Radio Systems (LMR) are used by our federal, state & local governments, utilities, transportation authorities, and all forms of commercial enterprises of all sizes from the local plumber to nationwide companies. In many ways two way systems are like the roads and highways of the country vs. cellular and PCS systems being the interstate highways.

Intro to Two Way
Purpose of Course
The purpose of this course is to provide the two way radio user, radio industry new hires and beginning radio sales professionals with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of two-way radio systems. Upon completion of this course, the student will understand the various types of radio systems, frequency ranges in which they operate, and basic radio system operations.
The courseware provides the user with an instructor who has many years of experience in the radio communications business.
