Radio Frequency Engineering Fundamentals
Radio Frequency Engineering Fundamentals
2 day
Applicable systems.
RF Identification (RFID)
Communications systems
Wireless systems including wireless sensors
RF measurements
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
Electromagnetic / Radio Interference (EMI / RFI)
Please note this list is not exhaustive, the course is designed to give an understanding that is applicable to any RF project from very Low frequency to high microwave.
Applicable personnel.
The 2 day introduction course is suitable for the following and any staff where there is likely to be an RF aspect to their role including:
Sales staff
Sales engineers
Field engineers
Application engineers
Engineering management
Project management
Summary
The 2 day introduction course is designed with the minimum of mathematics and aimed at Managers and Sales staff as a complete course or, like for RF engineers, this is also a gateway course to more in depth one and two day courses covering specific RF engineering aspects.
The Introduction to RF course gives a general understanding of RF engineering, an appreciation of the techniques used and the basic Transmitter and Receiver block diagram on which all RF systems are based.
All attendees are expected to have a general understanding of basic electronic theory and general components.
The course is modular in design so can be adjusted to suit customer requirements, e. g. greater depth for frequency bands, modulation techniques etc.
The minimum for this course is 4 and the maximum is 16. All attendees receive an attendance certificate plus a copy of the Practical RF handbook 4th edition
