1. Module (1) general: Discontinuities in Metals and alloys,
overview of NDT techniques, qualification of NDT personnel.
2. Module (2) Radiographic Testing: Sources of radiation, X- and
=-Rays, safety features, Introduction to Preparation of the
Radiograph, Film sensitivity (definition and contrast),
Radiographic exposure calculations, Film artifacts, Film
interpretation, etc.
3. Module (3) ASME Code Requirements for Radiographic Testing
(Articles1 and 2, of ASME Code Section V).
4. Module (4) Practical Session and Report Writing.
5. Examinations: Each Module is followed by the certification
exams which are prepared according to the requirements of the
American Society of Nondestructive Testing ASNT-TC-1A
Recommended Practice. The exams are composed of three tests,
General Test, Specific Test and Practical Test.
