A one day course covering Link budget calculation and the posible losses that need to be considered when planning an RF project. This course is aimed at managers and engineers for whom link budgets and path calculation are part of their projects.
The course is tutor led and based around link budget software, it is also available for On-site training as well as part of Gaddon Consultants RF engineer continuous training programme.

RF engineering Link Budgets and Losses
All students are assumed to have an basic understanding of general RF theory. If this is not the case then we suggest you look at the Introduction to RF engineering course.
Thuis course loks at calculating link and power budgets and looks at the losses that can be expected along with techniques to minimise these.
Sylabus includes:
Basic RF comms systems, looking at the structures and principles of Communicaton systems and modulation techniques.
Comms Networks covering local, repeater and netwok.
Interference and Fresnel Zones
System optimisation
Area designation
Cross system problems
Operation in an operational environment
Communication proticols.
On completion of the course all delegates will receive attendance certificates.
