RF engineering Link Budgets and Losses
All students are assumed to have an basic understanding of general RF theory. If this is not the case then we suggest you look at the Introduction to RF engineering course.
Thuis course loks at calculating link and power budgets and looks at the losses that can be expected along with techniques to minimise these.
Sylabus includes:
Basic RF comms systems, looking at the structures and principles of Communicaton systems and modulation techniques.
Comms Networks covering local, repeater and netwok.
Interference and Fresnel Zones
System optimisation
Area designation
Cross system problems
Operation in an operational environment
Communication proticols.
On completion of the course all delegates will receive attendance certificates.
