Strategic Planning: It has been reported that nine out of ten organizations fail to execute their strategy. Because employees are the driving force behind execution, much of this problem is attributed to the fact that few employees, if any, do not understand their organization s strategy. In our strategic planning sessions, we teach you the clear distinction between strategy and objectives. In addition, we ll reveal how complex strategies can be broken down to operational terms that everyone can understand and relate to their own jobs.

Balanced Scorecard: Developed by Drs. Kaplan and Norton, the Balanced Scorecard is a framework that communicates an organization s strategy through measuring the performance of the enterprise through four perspectives learning/ growth, internal process, customer, and financial. The Balanced Scorecard translates strategy into actionable items and objectives that can be understood. The Balanced Scorecard framework is unique because of its simplicity in integrating multiple perspectives of an organization together. It is designed to provide a balanced view of any organization.

Performance Management as a System: Achieving greater organizational performance requires a partnership between employees and the organization s leaders. In this type of partnership, organizational managers and executives have to be able to act as coaches and inspire the best efforts from employees. Performance appraisals have to open dialog and bridge the communication gap that exists between managers and employees. We can reveal several different types of performance appraisals and share with you the strengths of each type. In addition, we can instruct your staff on the definition of leadership and how employees can be coached to drive organizational performance.

Six Sigma: Six Sigma is a scientific approach to managing quality. Six Sigma involves developing hypothesis, testing predictions, recording observations, and driving operational improvements.
