The Manufacturing Deduction: What Is It and Who Qualifies? - This teleconference provides a technical overview of the Section 199 deduction. Participants will review the various requirements of Section 199, as well as fact patterns/examples illustrating these requirements. Attendees will be able to understand the requirements for calculating the Section 199 deduction, including qualified production activities, domestic production gross receipts, the allocation of costs of goods sold and other costs, related party rules, pass-through entity rules and various other issues. This teleconference will describe recent developments concerning Section 199 and will increase one s knowledge regarding the procedural and substantive issues surrounding Section 199.
