Managing Workplace Health - Many Canadian companies are at the forefront of a growing global recognition that business productivity is both positively and negatively affected by workforce health. Whereas HR was previously focused on managing health care costs, attention is now increasingly directed towards managing health and wellness initiatives aimed at improving workforce health on a sustainable long-term basis. ROI has become the key metric for wellness programs, and is measured in terms of the performance and productivity of a healthy workforce.
During this teleconference, we ll share an innovative approach to measuring workplace well-being that we believe will provide employers with a leap forward to the next step in the path towards improving productivity. By looking at employee opinion more broadly, and considering health more holistically and by adding rigorous metrics tied to both business performance and health outcomes we believe that employers will be able to realize tangible results in areas such as absence and disability, and health care costs as well as sustainable improvements in overall workforce culture, productivity and performance.
