Additionally, tools such as design and normalization software are often revised and improved. n nThis teleconference will go over some of the basic design considerations impacting reverse osmosis membranes used in groundwater desalination and then apply these principles to some specific application problems. Our faculty will review examples of successful installations as well as problems encountered and countermeasures. You'll learn about the use of newer, energy-efficient membranes and how they can improve water quality at lower cost. You will learn about potential pitfalls and get suggestions on how to avoid these problems.
