Duration: 1 day (7 hours of Training)
Unique Approach To training
At the beginning of the workshop participants will complete a questionnaire aimed at identifying their learning needs. They will be asked to identify common work problems they face in their day-to-day operations. The information will be incorporated as role plays and discussion points. This is a problem centered learning workshop that is designed to let the managers/ supervisors take the skills acquired during the workshop to the actual workplace. The emphasis is on learning outcomes of skills and techniques they can use to THINK and ACT when managing the team members.
Methodology
The trainer will use a variety of training methods, including small group discussions, individual reflection, group sharing exercises, case studies, and topic specific role-plays. Videos clips will be used to highlight key concepts.
This is an interactive workshop with a fair split between concept/ theory and practical application. Participants will spend considerable time in developing action plans aimed at managing problems/ opportunities at the workplace.
Action Plan:
Participants will prepare action plans for specific areas covered during the learning sessions. These plans are for follow-up action by the participants.
