This teleconference will review the complicated federal construction bidding process, including sealed bidding procedures and negotiated procurements. You'll learn about practical substantive issues that commonly arrive in preparing a bid or proposal for federal construction work, such as proprietary specifications, design vs. performance specifications, and the duty to inquire during the bidding stage. In addition, we'll cover the bid protest procedures in place to protect your rights, including small business, disadvantaged business and veteran set-aside issues.
