Cisco Network Security Program prepares students to get certified as CCSP (Cisco Certified Security Professional). The course develops the candidates basic associate level network engineering knowledge to the professionallevel but specialized to the Security vertical of the Cisco certification path.

The Cisco Exam Codes and the programs are as follows
1. 642-552 SND Securing Cisco Network Devices
2. 642-503 SNRS Securing Networks with Cisco Routers and Switches
3. 642-523 SNPA Securing Networks with PIX and ASA
4. 642-533 IPS Implementing Cisco Intrusion Prevention System 5. 642-513 HIPS Securing Hosts Using Cisco Security Agent (not done by us)
6. 642-591 CANAC Implementing Cisco NAC Appliance (not done)
7. 642-544 MARS Implementing Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis and Response System (not done by us)
8. 642-511 CSVPN Cisco Secure Virtual Private Networks.
The CCSP certification (Cisco Certified Security Professional) validates advanced knowledge and skills required to secure Cisco networks. With a CCSP, a network professional demonstrates the skills required to secure and manage network infrastructures to protect productivity and reduce costs. The CCSP curriculum emphasizes secure VPN management, Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM), PIX firewall, Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Cisco Security Agent (CSA), and techniques to combine these technologies in a single, integrated network security solution.
The new curriculum has removed the the SNPA and has included two new papers SNAF and SNAA. Even the SND paper is going to become obsolete.
