E-Verify Mandates and Mechanisms for Compliance

Training Provided by Lorman Education Services nE-Verify is an online system that allows participating employers to check the work status of new hires by comparing information from an employee's Form I-9 against Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security databases. Although initially implemented as a voluntary program, many states now require the use of E-Verify. Additionally, as a result of a presidential executive order released in June, federal contractors are also required to use the system. n nJoin us as we discuss state and federal mandates regarding use of E-Verify.
