The bootcamp is designed for nonprofit executive directors, marketing and communications staff, administrative staff, or others who are or will be responsible for the organization's membership management. CiviCRM is a well established and supported open source contact relationship management system (CRM), that is robust and customizable to fit the needs of many organizations.
The bootcamp is led by at least two Data-Scribe instructors who are CiviCRM implementation strategists.

Nonprofit CiviCRM Bootcamp 2009
Each session runs from 9a to 4p. Bootcamps are limited to 6 attendees.
Computers are provided.
* Day 1 - Database Strategy Day: Assessment of your existing database needs; Discuss database options; What data needs to go in; What info needs to come out.
* Day 2 - Hands-on Training Day: CiviCRM terminology; Administration; Using CiviCRM; CiviCRM maintenance and updates; Assess its use for your organization.
* Day 3 - Build your CiviCRM Database Day: Participants begin the setup of CiviCRM and begin creating their organization database. Data-Scribe instructors will circulate around the room to assist with the process and answer questions. At the end of the class, participants can make a copy of their database to take with them.
