Occupational Safety Trainer.
This intensive 40-hour course provides a clear and concise explanation of the responsibilities concerning employee safety and the relative OSHA Standards. The purpose of this training course is to provide you with an overview of the basic knowledge and skills needed to become a successful safety trainer. Information relevant to planning, preparing, presenting, and evaluating classroom training is the foundation of this course. Students are required to conduct a training session in order to successfully complete this course. Students are awarded an OSTI Certificate of Completion.
This course meets the requirement for the Occupational Safety Trainer (OST) certification from the Occupational Safety Training and Certification Alliance (OSTCA).
Graduates are authorized to conduct training and issue OSTCA pocket cards.
