Recognized across 170 countries Project Management Professional (PMP ®) Certification is a globally recognized, rigorous, education, and/ or professional experience and examination-based professional credentialing program.
To appear for PMP Certification Examination, over & above the requisite experience, the participants must attend 35 Contact Hours (Four Days) of formal project management training so as to become eligible for PMP Certification Examination.
KnowledgeWoods Consulting s PMP Certification Training Program (Four Days - 35 Contact Hours) allows participants to Learn, understand, Remember & Apply important project management concepts so that they can prepare for the PMP Examination & also work towards becoming a better project manager in the process.
In order to be eligible for the PMP certification process the candidate must meet all the requirements in either one of the two categories. The first category of the PMP candidates is those who possess a baccalaureate degree who must have had at least three years of experience in project management within the past six years wherein 4, 500 hours are spent in directing and leading project tasks. The second category of PMP candidates is of those who do not possess a baccalaureate degree. They must have had at least five years of experience in project management within the last eight years in which 7, 500 hours were spent in directing and leading project tasks. Candidates of both these categories are also required to document at least 35 contact hours of formal education.
