Hazmat Plans & Programs Confined Space training is a "Competent Level" Course. This safety course covers OSHA's requirements for Confined Space Safety found under 29 CFR 1926 21 and Permit-Required Confined Space, 29 CFR 1910 146. The Confined Space course is Instructor-led and takes place in Denver, Colorado.

Confined Space training outcomes - students will become knowledgeable in the following areas:
- Hazard Assessment for Confined Spaces
- General Requirements of the Standard
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Hazardous Atmospheres - example H2S Gas
- Engulfment and Other Hazards
- Permit Required Confined Space Programs
- Permit Systems
- Entry and Exit Procedures
- Employee Training
- Entrant Duties
- Attendant Duties
- Supervisor Duties
- Rescue and Emergency Services
Each student will receive a wallet card for completion of Confined Space Training at the end of the class.

OSHA requires all workers entering a Confined Space or a Permit Required Confined Space to have safety training. A confined space is defined by OSHA to mean a space that is:
- Large enough and so configured that an employee can enter to perform work and
- Has limited means for entry and exit and
- Is not designed for continuous employee occupancy
The Confined Space Training Course is a four hour class. Students receive an HP&P Safety wallet card upon completion of the course.
Cost: $95. 00 per student
Duration: 4 Hours
