Participants in an online business game manage a virtual company in a simulated environment, competing with other players. Participants learn economical concepts and develop managerial soft-skills by using an intuitive online tool which puts the participant in the role of the CEO of a virtual company.
BossInGame. com is an online business game where participants manage the following departments: R+D, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales, Marketing and Finance.
Educators can use BossInGame as a virtual Lab where participants can experiment with business concepts and, therefore, educators can boost their present educational courses.
BossInGame is a free tool if the participants use the standard simulations ( once a week or once a day ). For personalized simulations, an annual registration fee of 28 Euros per participant is required.

Online business game
The business game is always online. Therefore, there is no fixed start or end of the program. Educators may feel free to use this educational tool when they wish.
The educator may follow these steps to use the online business game:
1.- Register the participants teams:
Each team can define a "captain" which will be responsible for the team. The captain of each team registers the team online.
2.- Confirm team:
Each team receives an email to confirm registration.
3.- Starting a competition:
One team can open a new competition. Each competition has 8 slots for 8 teams. The teams join the competition and, when the 8 slots are full, the competition does start.
4.- Filling the decisions form:
Each captain must fill the decisions form each week or each day ( depending on the modality. Other calendars are also available ).
5.- Reading the results:
The software simulates and each team can see the results in the web. Time for the next round.
6.- Each competition lasts 8 rounds.
Once the competition is finished, each team receives Experience Points which allow them to access more information ( for example, Balance Sheet, Sales per distribution channel, benchmarking and brand/ quality positioning... )
Once the competition is over, a new competition can be started.
