BenefitsLEED certification is becoming a more common requirement for designs in this environmentally sensitive and energy-conscious world. Design teams are being asked to integrate steps for
LEED certification into already established design processes. Even though a designer might understand the principles of sustainable design and are familiar with LEED certification, until they have managed a LEED design through certification, do they really know what it takes to get a building LEED certified? This teleconference will use case studies and the experiences of designers who have completed the LEED certification process to help you better understand how to organize your LEED project, how to track progress toward achieving your LEED goals and how to compose your LEED submissions.
This teleconference is based on publicly available information concerning the LEED rating and certification system, and is not specifically endorsed or approved by the U.S. Green Building Council.
