Bachelor of Arts degree in Metaphysics - distance learning
The study of metaphysics with Calamus goes beyond the philosophera s classical definition of metaphysics as speculative philosophy. The available units allow the student to explore transcendental realities with an appreciation which is intuitive as well as intellectual. Suitable topics may be drawn from the entire range of studies of contemporary spirituality, regression and reincarnation, religious studies, esoteric studies, shamanic studies, transpersonal psychology, personal development, parapsychology and consciousness studies. Other Calamus units of particular interest to the student, or approved independent study, may also be included in the personal study plan. The field of metaphysics as presented by Calamus may suit the alternative, interfaith or New Age practitioner or minister or anyone with a strong interest in a broad range of alternative philosophies and New Age subjects.
This degree is an accelerated one and students will normally have an Associates degree or other credit from professional qualifications, other education and work experience. If the student lacks enough prior credit, bridging courses will be suggested.
Entry may be at any time of year.
After enrolment a questionnaire will be issued helping to draw up an individualised syllabus according to student's interests.
The program leads to a BA degree of Calamus Int'l University, a global distance university that does not have accreditation by any government-recognised agency. CIU degrees are not UK or US degrees. (See our profile for further info).
