Doctor of Clinical Hypnotherapy (DCH) - distance learning by taught courses and an optional project. Entry to the course may take place at any time of year.
The Doctor of Clinical Hypnotherapy is the equivalent of a non-traditional Psy. D. degree for hypnotherapists, delivered in the same way but with courses focusing on the theory and practice of clinical hypnotherapy plus electives drawn from CIUa s wide range of relevant topics. A Bachelora s degree plus an approved hypnotherapy training are normally required for entry but CIU can provide an integrated B. A./D. C.H. route, incorporating your ongoing professional hypnotherapy training, if necessary.
The main method of study is via textbook-based course units and completed written assignments are emailed to the college.
The typical length of study is 18 months post-Masters or 2 years post-Bachelors.
The syllabus is flexible to accommodate students with varying backgrounds and existing levels of expertise. On enrolment the student completes a questionnaire that enables an individualised syllabus to be negotiated drawing from the large range of course units available plus independent study and any ongoing external trainings or CEUs.
This program leads to the award of the Doctor of Clinical Hypnotherapy (DCH) degree of Calamus International University, a global distance learning university that is not accredited by any government-recognised agency. CIU degrees are not UK or US degrees.
Due to the credit crunch this program is now available at a tuition fee starting at GBP (Pounds Sterling) 995, plus cost of textbooks as required.
